In my day job, I work with my legislative colleagues in the county, state, and federal government to figure out ways for them to pay for large investments like building firehouses, updating parks, and repairing aging city buildings.

As your next City Councilmember, I will continue to leverage these relationships to bring home earmarks and grants to Ferndale so we can build new things like a state of the art recreation center, improve our parks, fund a home repair program for seniors and working families, and create a small business loan and grant program to help businesses which are key to ensuring that Ferndale continues to thrive.

There is so much funding out there for the taking. It doesn’t always need to be the Ferndale taxpayer that bears the costs. After you elect me in November, we will access these resources and do amazing things together to move Ferndale Forward.
